Where to track cryptocurrency transactions?

TL/DR: Depending on the currency of a transaction, you will have to check the respective blockchain to get insight into that transaction. For example, if you have transferred some ETH and wish to check the status of that transaction, you will have to consult the Ethereum blockchain. Transactions and their statuses can be tracked using a full node, a wallet or blockchain explorer websites.
